Library of humanities 📚

When I was in high school, I read a lot of fiction, mainly XIX century classics (see, for instance, my project on “War and Peace”). I remember sitting in the Physics class, having to prepare for exams, and instead laying out books on top of textbooks and reading them. However, interestingly, this has changed when I went to university: I stopped reading fiction and basically never went back to it (I write a bit about that here). Instead, I started reading non-fiction, and since my visit to South Africa in 2016, increasingly started reading non-fiction about philosophy, history, and other fields of humanities. This, of course, became even more pronounced when I entered my degrees in Philosophy and Religious Studies.

On this page, I simply want to keep an account on all the various books on humanities I have read, in hopes they may prove useful to somebody. I write all the titles in original, but I myself read them in English or Russian translations if needed. I specify the original year of publication, even if the links point to modern re-prints.
